The Innova* IGS 520 system offers a comprehensive suite of functionality customized for a wide range of EP procedures. With its 20.5 x 20.5 cm (8.1 in) square flat-panel digital detector, it offers excellent visualization of the heart and its chambers. The system is designed from the ground to provide the image clarity you need while helping you keep dose as low as possible. It includes features like Dose Personalization1, which gives you the tools to choose from up to five automatic exposure preferences for your system2. You can also modify3 any of these preferences in any clinical protocol to enable multi-procedure, multi-user customization and thus support well-informed decisions.
Innova IGS 520 features a 3.75 frames per second fluoroscopic acquisition mode optimized for EP procedures. Powered with advanced applications and integrated workflow, the system empowers you with capabilities to streamline procedural workflow and enhance your ability to perform complex procedures with confidence.

    the overlay of 3D anatomy on the live fluoroscopic image

With its 20.5 x 20.5 cm (8.1 in) square flat-panel digital detector, Innova IGS 520 offers 38% greater coverage than 17.7 cm (7 in) square panels. It covers more anatomy, like the heart and its chambers, with fewer runs than smaller detectors, enabling efficient use of contrast and dose.

Simple, centralized, automated controls
Control your system and images with integrated, intuitive tableside controls. With simple menus, the Central touchscreen lets you control most system functions, configure the system, modify imaging parameters, control your large display monitor, and manipulate advanced applications – all at the tableside. The comfortable, easy-to-grasp control knob makes it easy to pan the table, position the gantry, and perform procedures.

Innova 3D Cardiac delivers quick acquisition and reconstruction of 3D cardiac anatomy in the cath lab for intuitive navigation during complex procedures. It helps you acquire and reconstruct a 3D model of the left atrium or aortic root, providing a reliable match to the patient’s anatomy and delivering the information you need to plan access for the most challenging cardiac interventions.

 

Innova EPVision 

Live 3D anatomy visualization for electrophysiology procedures
Innova EPVision dynamically fuses 2D X-ray images with 3D models (such as 3D cardiac models) from rotational angiography, MR, or CT. It supports localization and positioning of guidewires, ablation catheters, and other devices, including those not visualized by current 3D mapping technology, during electrophysiology procedures.

CardEP

Streamlined post-processing for enhanced electrophysiology procedures
CardEP* is an integrated post-processing image analysis software for the application of cardiovascular and electrophysiology imaging on the Advantage Workstation. It lets you process, display, reformat, and analyze 2D or 3D cardiac CT images for qualitative or quantitative assessment of heart anatomy and pulmonary veins from single or multiple cardiac-phase image data sets.

Procedures

EP catheter ablations

Cardiac ablation is an invasive procedure performed to correct heart arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation. Ablation typically uses catheters – long, flexible tubes inserted through a vein in the groin and advanced to the heart to correct or scar the abnormal electrical circuits that are causing the arrhythmia. Ultimately, ablation prevents abnormal electrical signals from traveling through the heart and restores normal heart rhythm.

Plan your procedure with Innova Spin, which provides a dynamic fluoroscopic image of the atrium filled with contrast to help localize the abnormal tissue that is causing the arrhythmia.

Guide

Guide your procedure with Innova EPVision 2.0, an advanced roadmapping application that superimposes a pre-acquired 3D image over the live fluoroscopic image. Additionally, Innova EPVision 2.0 shows ablation points and 3D maps of the heart to further guide you throughout the procedure.

Assess

Assess the success of the procedure using CardioLab – it allows you to review ECG and intra-cardiac signals after the ablation procedure to ensure clinical success.

Structural EP procedures

Structural EP procedures are most commonly performed on patients who are at increased risk of blood clot formation in the heart due to atrial fibrillation. In many cases, blood clots form in the left atrial appendage. A clot that migrates outside the appendage may put the patient at increased risk of stroke. Closure or occlusion of the left atrial appendage can help prevent this migration and mitigate the increased stroke risk.

a device or a lasso technique. Viewer,
based on Innova CT HD images, to segment and identify the exact vessels
to be embolized. 

Guide your procedure with Innova EPVision, an advanced roadmapping application that superimposes the pre-acquired 3D image
over the live fluoroscopic image, aiding
in the proper placement of the device.
